What Is MAH BCA CET 2026?
The Maharashtra Bachelor of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is conducted annually to shortlist candidates for BCA admissions. Admission through MAH BCA CET 2026 is applicable only to institutes participating in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Final seat allotment depends on CET score, cut-off marks, and CAP rounds.
MAH BCA CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy nationality and educational requirements prescribed by CET Cell Maharashtra. Meeting eligibility does not guarantee admission. There is no stream restriction, and students from Science, Commerce, or Arts backgrounds are eligible, subject to university-specific rules. Aggregate Marks Calculation Rules
Candidates must clearly understand how aggregate marks are calculated for eligibility verification. Only subjects approved by the respective board for result declaration are considered. If the qualifying board awards grades or CGPA, conversion to percentage must follow the official board formula. In the absence of a formula, guidelines mentioned in the MAH CET 2026 Information Brochure must be followed. The final percentage must be rounded off to two decimal places, and a conversion certificate may be required during verification.
Mandatory ID Requirements for MAH BCA CET 2026
CET Cell has made identity verification mandatory for registration. Candidates must ensure details match academic records. The following IDs are compulsory:
- Aadhaar ID, linked with an active mobile number
- APAAR ID, a 12-digit permanent academic identity
Without valid Aadhaar and APAAR IDs, candidates will not be able to apply for MAH BCA CET 2026.
MAH BCA CET 2026 Document Checklist
