LIC AAO 2025 Prelims Exam on October 3; Last-Minute Preparation Tips

The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) will conduct the LIC AAO 2025 prelims exam on 3 October 2025 for 760 vacancies. Candidates must download their admit card from the official website and focus on revision, as only a few days remain before the exam. The prelims exam pattern consists of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The duration of the exam is one hour, with a total of 100 questions.

Switch to Revision, Not New Topics

Candidates are advised to revise short notes, formulas, and tricks rather than attempting new topics. Revision must cover all important areas in Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. Focus should be on consolidating strengths and reviewing key strategies.

Manage Time Effectively

The LIC AAO prelims exam has sectional time limits, making time management crucial. Candidates should practice mock tests according to the following schedule:

• Reasoning Ability: 20 minutes
• Quantitative Aptitude: 20 minutes
• English Language: 20 minutes

Take LIC AAO Mock Tests

At this stage, candidates should attempt one or two mock tests daily. After each test, errors must be analysed carefully. Focus on improving question selection, skipping time-consuming questions early, and strengthening weak areas.

Revise Important Topics

Candidates should ensure the following topics are revised before the exam:

• Reasoning Ability: Blood Relations, Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Inequalities, Coding-Decoding

• Quantitative Aptitude: Data Interpretation, Simplification/Approximation, Number Series, Quadratic Equations, Time, Work, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest

• English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Para Jumbles

Candidates must complete all preparations in time, focus on revision and mock practice, and follow the exam pattern carefully to improve performance in the LIC AAO 2025 prelims exam.
