The provisional answer key and candidate OMR response sheets have been published on the official websites, including cbse.gov.in, kvsangathan.nic.in and NVS recruitment sections. Candidates will need their registration number and date of birth (or password) to log in and access the documents.

Steps to Download:

  1. Visit the official portal kvsangathan.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.
  2. Go to the Recruitment/Answer Key section.
  3. Click on the KVS NVS Tier-1 Answer Key 2026 link.
  4. Enter your credentials (Registration No. & DOB/Password).
  5. Download the answer key and OMR response sheet PDF files.

The answer key lists the official correct answers for questions asked in the Tier-I exam, while the response sheet displays the answers marked by individual candidates. This enables aspirants to cross-verify their responses and calculate tentative scores ahead of results

Objection Process and Next Steps

After the provisional answer key is released, a designated objection window will be available during which candidates can raise challenges to any answer they believe is incorrect. Each objection typically requires supporting evidence and a nominal processing fee. Once the objection period closes and reviews are completed, CBSE will publish the final answer key. Following the final answer key, the result for the KVS NVS Tier-I exam will be declared based on evaluated scores using the final key. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official recruitment portals for updates on results and further stages of the selection process.
