KVS NVS 2025 City Slip Out; Exam City Intimation Slip Issued

December 30, 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the KVS NVS exam city intimation slip 2025 for candidates registered under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) recruitment. This advance notification enables applicants to check their allotted exam city, scheduled exam dates and shift timings for the upcoming Tier I examination on 10 and 11 January 2026 before the official admit card is issued. The city intimation slip is a preliminary document designed primarily to help candidates plan travel and accommodation arrangements ahead of the main exam. It does not permit entry into the examination hall; candidates must download the full admit card separately when it becomes available on the official portals, typically around two days before the exam.

KVS NVS Exam City Intimation Slip: What Candidates Should Know?

Before the release of the admit card, CBSE has issued the city intimation slips on official websites including cbse.gov.in, kvsangathan.nic.in and navodaya.gov.in. These slips display the allotted exam city or state, exam dates and exam shift details for each candidate. The Tier I recruitment exams for both teaching and non-teaching posts cover thousands of vacancies under the KVS and NVS recruitment drive, with candidates scheduled to appear on 10 and 11 January 2026 in different shifts.

City Slip vs Admit Card: Key Difference Ahead of Exam

The city intimation slip and the admit card are distinct documents that serve different purposes in the examination process:

• City Slip: Released in advance to inform candidates of the exam city, date and shift timings; useful for travel planning but not valid for exam entry.
• Admit Card: Issued closer to the exam (usually two days before the test); contains complete details including exam centre address, roll number, photo, and reporting time, and is mandatory for entry into the exam hall.

Candidates are advised to download both documents at their respective release times and prepare accordingly to avoid last-minute issues.

How to Download the KVS NVS City Intimation Slip 2025?

Once released, the KVS NVS city intimation slip can be downloaded by:

1. Visiting the official CBSE recruitment portal or the websites of KVS/NVS.
2. Clicking on the link for the City Intimation Slip 2025.
3. Entering the registration number and password/date of birth.
4. Downloading and saving the slip for future reference.

This simple process ensures that candidates have the necessary information about their exam location and schedule well ahead of the admit card release and actual test days.

Expectations for the KVS NVS Admit Card Release

The official admit cards for the KVS and NVS Tier I exams are expected to be released about two days before the exam dates, likely around 8 January 2026. The admit card will contain more detailed information such as the exam centre address, reporting time, and role-specific instructions needed for test day entry. Once the admit cards are out, candidates should download and retain multiple copies to avoid any last-minute hassles and ensure compliance with exam day requirements.

What Candidates Should Do Next?

Candidates who have downloaded their city intimation slip 2025 should:

• Verify the exam city and dates.
• Plan their travel and accommodation well in advance.
• Keep an eye on official portals for the admit card release closer to the exam.
• Ensure all login credentials are handy for prompt access to documents.

This phased release approach first the city slip, then the admit card helps candidates prepare effectively for the KVS and NVS recruitment exams spanning multiple locations across India.
