The registration window for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025 closed today, 19 September 2025. Candidates had to submit their applications online through the official portal, with the exam scheduled for 2 November 2025. Hall tickets for the exam will be available from 24 October 2025.

 

KSET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Candidates

Candidates seeking to appear for KSET 2025 were required to meet the following eligibility norms. The information below ensures candidates verify their eligibility before applying.

  • A Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent marks (50 per cent for reserved categories) from a UGC-recognized university.
  • Candidates in their final year of the Master's program could apply provisionally, provided proof of minimum required marks is submitted within two years of the KSET result.
  • PhD holders whose Master's examination was completed by 19 September 1991 are eligible for a 5 per cent marks relaxation.

 

KSET 2025 Application Fee Details

The fee structure for KSET 2025 was clearly defined for different categories. Candidates were expected to complete payment before the deadline to confirm their registration.

  • General/OBC (Cat II(A), II(B), III(A), III(B)) and other state candidates: INR 1,000
  • SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates: INR 700
