KRCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 134 Vacancies, Eligibility, Stipend

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has announced 134 Apprentice Trainee vacancies for engineering graduates, diploma holders and graduates from general streams under the Apprentices Act.

The recruitment is being conducted through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Candidates with an approved NATS ID are required to appear for document verification on the scheduled date for their respective discipline.

KRCL Apprentice Vacancy 2026

KRCL has announced 134 training slots across engineering and general graduate streams. The vacancies include Graduate Apprentices and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices.

KRCL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible for the apprenticeship training.

The educational qualification varies according to the training category:

• BE/BTech candidates can apply for the relevant engineering disciplines.
• Diploma holders can apply for Technician Apprentice positions.
• General graduates with BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, Bachelor of Management Science, BJMC or Bachelor of Business Studies can apply for General Stream Graduate Apprentice positions.
• Candidates must have a valid and approved NATS ID at the time of document verification.

The age limit is 18 to 25 years as on January 1, 2026. The upper-age limit is relaxed by five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC-NCL candidates.

KRCL Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism.

The apprenticeship training will continue for one year. KRCL has clarified that completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment with the organisation.

KRCL Apprentice Document Verification Dates

Candidates must attend document verification according to their discipline. The verification schedule is as follows:

Document verification will be conducted at Executives Club, Konkan Rail Vihar, Sector-40, Seawoods Railway Station (West), Navi Mumbai.

Candidates must report for registration between 9 AM and 12 noon on their scheduled date.

KRCL Apprentice Selection Process 2026

KRCL will prepare the merit list based on the aggregate marks obtained in all years or semesters of the qualifying examination. No particular semester or year will receive additional weightage.

In case of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred. Land loser candidates of the Konkan Railway Project will receive first preference, followed by candidates belonging to districts within the KRCL jurisdiction.
