Candidates seeking admission to 3-Year LLB Kerala, 5-Year LLB Kerala, and LLM programmes must complete the online application process before the deadline through the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. With only a few hours remaining before the application portal closes, eligible candidates are advised to complete registration, document uploads, and fee payment without delay. The KLEE Application Form 2026 is available exclusively online, and no extension to the registration deadline has been announced by CEE Kerala. Candidates who fail to submit their applications by the specified time will not be eligible to participate in the admission process for the 2026 academic session.

Every year, thousands of students apply for admission to integrated and traditional law programmes offered by institutions across Kerala. According to the official schedule, the registration process that began on June 10, 2026, will conclude today at 5:00 PM. Important Dates for KLEE 2026

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has released a detailed timeline for the admission process.

KLEE 2026 Application Fee

The submission of the KLEE Application Form 2026 is considered complete only after successful payment of the prescribed application fee. The application fee for General and SEBC category candidates is ₹950. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay ₹450. The fee can be paid online through debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, or other approved digital payment methods available on the portal. Since the application fee is non-refundable, candidates must carefully verify all details before completing the payment process.

KLEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting the application form, candidates should ensure that they satisfy the prescribed KLEE Eligibility Criteria 2026 for their chosen programme. For admission to the 5-Year Integrated LLB Kerala programme, candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 examinations from a recognized board. General category applicants require a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks, while SEBC candidates require 42 percent and SC/ST candidates require 40 percent. Applicants seeking admission to the 3-Year LLB Kerala programme must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline. The minimum qualifying marks remain 45 percent for General category candidates, 42 percent for SEBC and EWS applicants, and 40 percent for SC/ST candidates. For LLM admissions, candidates must hold a recognized LLB degree with at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination. CEE Kerala has clarified that there is currently no upper age limit for candidates applying to law programmes through KLEE.

How to Apply for KLEE 2026 Registration?

The entire application process is conducted online through the official CEE Kerala portal. Candidates must first visit cee.kerala.gov.in and select the relevant admission link for either the 3-Year LLB or 5-Year Integrated LLB programme. New applicants are required to complete the registration process and generate an application number along with a secure password. After logging in, candidates must fill in personal details, academic qualifications, communication information, and category details. Once the application form is completed, applicants should proceed to pay the required fee and upload the necessary documents. After successful submission, candidates should download and retain a copy of the application confirmation page for future reference.

Documents Required for KLEE 2026 Application Form

Applicants must keep all required documents ready before starting the registration process to avoid interruptions during submission. The application requires a recent passport-size photograph, candidate signature, educational qualification certificates, category certificates (if applicable), and other supporting documents specified by CEE Kerala. Candidates should ensure that all uploaded documents are clear, readable, and uploaded in the prescribed format to prevent application rejection.

KLEE 2026 Photograph and Signature Upload Specifications

One of the most common reasons for incomplete applications is incorrect document formatting. The online portal automatically validates uploaded files and may reject submissions that do not meet the specified requirements. The candidate photograph must be uploaded in format with dimensions of 150 x 200 pixels and a file size between 15 KB and 100 KB. The photograph should be recent and taken against a light-colored background. Similarly, the candidate signature must be uploaded in JPEG format with dimensions of 150 x 100 pixels and a file size ranging from 10 KB to 100 KB. The signature should be written clearly on white paper using blue or black ink. Supporting certificates generally need to be uploaded in PDF format according to the file-size specifications provided on the portal.

KLEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Admission Process

The KLEE 2026 Exam Date has been scheduled for June 28, 2026. The entrance examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated examination centres across Kerala. The examination will evaluate candidates on legal aptitude, general knowledge, reasoning ability, English language skills, and other areas relevant to legal studies. The scores obtained in the entrance examination will be used for preparing rank lists and conducting counselling for admissions. Following the declaration of results, qualified candidates will participate in the centralized admission process conducted by CEE Kerala for seat allocation across participating law colleges.

Why KLEE 2026 is Important for Law Aspirants?

The KLEE 2026 remains the primary admission route for students aspiring to pursue legal education in Kerala. Successful candidates gain access to several reputed government and private institutions offering law programmes recognized by the Bar Council of India. The growing demand for legal professionals in corporate law, litigation, judicial services, legal consulting, and public administration has significantly increased interest in law admissions across the country. As a result, competition for seats through KLEE 2026 Registration is expected to remain strong.
