Karnataka CET results are anticipated around May 28-29, 2026, with a potential delay due to a re-exam. Learn about the implications for agricultural science admissions.
The anticipation surrounding the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) results is building, with officials expecting to release the results around May 28 or 29, 2026. However, a slight delay is possible due to a re-examination scheduled for May 24, 2026, in Hiriyur, following reports of malpractice at that testing center. This update was confirmed by the state's Higher Education Minister, Dr. M.C. Sudhakar.
The Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) is working diligently to finalize the results of the KCET. Although the results are expected to be declared on May 28 or 29, 2026, there is a possibility that they could be released a couple of days earlier, potentially around May 26, 2026. However, the re-examination on May 24 may push this timeline back by one to two days.
Karnataka CET 2026: Implications of the Re-Exam
The re-examination in Hiriyur is a response to a recent incident involving malpractice and copying, which necessitated the need for a fair assessment of all candidates. As the KEA processes the data from this re-exam, students are urged to stay updated on any changes to the result declaration timeline.
Karnataka CET 2026 and Agricultural Science Admissions
Aspirants looking to secure admission in agricultural science courses should be aware that their admission will depend on the scores from specific examinations conducted by the Agricultural University. The KEA is committed to ensuring that students receive their results promptly, especially after the re-examination, to facilitate a smooth admission process.
How to Check Karnataka CET 2026 Results
Students will be able to check their KCET results through the official KEA website. It is advisable for candidates to keep their registration details handy to access their scores easily once they are released. Regularly checking the official site will ensure that students do not miss the announcement.
