The KCET 2026 results have been postponed until after June 1 due to rescheduled practical exams. Discover the new timeline and details.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially announced a delay in the declaration of the KCET 2026 results. This postponement is primarily due to the rescheduling of the agriculture and veterinary practical exams, which will take place at the Hiriyur Centre. As a result, students eagerly awaiting their results will need to wait until after June 1 for the official announcement.
According to a recent update shared by KEA on its official X handle, the results for the KCET 2026 will be declared only after June 1. This delay is a direct consequence of the practical exams that have been rescheduled for candidates at the Hiriyur Centre. KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, confirmed that the University of Agricultural Sciences is responsible for this change, ensuring all practical exams are conducted smoothly before the results are released.
KCET 2026 Practical Exams: Key Details
The practical exams for agriculture and veterinary studies at the Hiriyur Centre are now set for June 1. This is a crucial step, as the KCET results cannot be finalized until the practical scores for all candidates are integrated. A total of 24,250 candidates are registered for these practical tests, highlighting the significant number of students impacted by this delay.
Implications for Students Awaiting KCET 2026 Results
With the results now postponed, KEA encourages students to utilize this waiting period effectively. They recommend participating in mock seat allotments, which are available until May 30. This is an excellent opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the multi-step counselling process and understand how to lock in their college and course preferences.
Additionally, students can attend the ongoing KEA Manthana 2026 counselling sessions to better prepare for the upcoming admission cycles. Engaging in these activities can provide valuable insights and help students make informed decisions regarding their future educational paths.
