The counselling process is an important step right now, and this window allows students to either confirm their allotted seat or keep their options open for the next round. The timeline for reporting to the allotted colleges has been set for September 3, 2025.
KCET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Choices
KEA has provided four choices for candidates allotted seats in round 2. Students are required to carefully select one option based on their choice and admission plans.
- Choice 1: Accept the allotted seat and complete the admission process. Candidates choosing this will not be allowed to participate in the next round.
- Choice 2: Pay the prescribed fee and stay eligible for the round 3 seat allotment.
- Choice 3: Skip fee payment for the current seat but pay a caution deposit of ₹10,000 to participate in round 3.
- Choice 4: Quit the process if not satisfied with the seat. Such candidates will not be considered for further allotment.
Students should note that after round 3 allotment, no further choice selection options will be available. Seats in round 3 will be allotted strictly based on merit, and reporting to colleges will be mandatory.
KCET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Schedule
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for KCET Counselling 2025 Round 2.
