 KAU Triples BSc & Allied Course Fees to ₹72,000 Amid NEET UG 2025

The Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has sharply revised its fee structure, increasing annual tuition for BSc (Hons.) Agriculture and allied medical courses from ₹24,050 to ₹72,000. This change comes amid the ongoing NEET UG 2025 AYUSH counselling administered by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

 

KAU Fee Hike and AYUSH Counselling Registration Timeline

KAU issued a new ordinance on 3 September 2025, mandating the enhanced fee rate for newly admitted students for the academic year 2025–26 (Kau,Kau). Meanwhile, registration for Kerala’s NEET UG AYUSH-related admissions—including agriculture and allied courses—remains open until 4:00 PM on 10 September 2025

 

Breakdown of Updated Fees for KAU Courses

The revised tuition fees now stand at ₹72,000 per year (₹36,000 per semester) for the following programmes:

KAU has nearly tripled the tuition compared to previous charges of ₹24,050 per annum.

 

What Candidates Should Know Before Applying

Candidates aiming for Kerala admission into agriculture or allied medical courses must register on the CEE portal (cee.kerala.gov.in) by 10 September 2025, 4 PM. The provisional allotment of seats is scheduled for 11 September, followed by the final allotment on 12 September 2025
