KSEAB has clarified that objections received after the cut-off date will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Changes in SSLC Passing Criteria Under Consideration

Alongside the release of the timetable, the Karnataka government has also proposed a relaxation in SSLC passing norms. The draft notification suggests:

  • Minimum marks per subject reduced from 35% to 30%.
  • Overall passing requirement set at 33% average (internal + external assessments).
  • Students must score at least 206 out of 625 total marks to be declared passed.

Currently, SSLC students must score a minimum of 35% in each subject, irrespective of aggregate performance. The proposed reform is expected to provide more flexibility to students who struggle in one subject but perform well in others.
