The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the Round-3 choice filling dates for NEET PG Counselling 2025; eligible candidates can now enter their options from 05 February to 09 February 2026. KEA will publish the provisional SEAT allotment result on 09 February and the final result on 10 February 2026. This change follows updates to the counselling schedule aligned with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) timetable.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced a revised schedule for Round-3 of NEET PG Counselling 2025. Under the updated timeline, the choice filling (also called option entry) window — where candidates select their preferred colleges and courses — will now open on 05 February 2026 and remain open until 09 February 2026 on the official counselling portal cetonline.karnataka.gov.in This extension ensures NEET PG applicants in Karnataka have sufficient time to prepare and finalise their preferred options following changes in the overall counselling calendar.
Round-3 Counselling: New Schedule Overview
Under the revised timetable:
- Choice filling/option entry: 05 February – 09 February 2026
- Provisional seat allotment result: 09 February 2026 (after 5 PM)
- Final seat allotment result: 10 February 2026 (after 1 PM)
KEA has stated that previously filled options will not be considered for this revised round, so candidates must log in and resubmit their choices during the updated window.
How to Fill Options for Round-3?
Eligible candidates should take the following steps on the KEA portal:
- Visit the official counselling site at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Go to the NEET PG Counselling Round-3 choice filling section.
- Log in using your registration credentials (application number and password/DOB).
- Select preferred colleges and courses in the order of priority.
- Submit and confirm your options before the 09 February 2026 deadline.
After choice filling closes, KEA will process entries and release the provisional allotment list on the evening of 09 February 2026, followed by the final allotment list on 10 February 2026
What Happens Next?
Once the final seat allotment result is published:
- Candidates allotted seats must download the allotment order.
- Pay the required admission fees within the specified window.
- Report to the allotted medical college by the deadline set by KEA.
This revised schedule aligns with updates from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for national counselling rounds, ensuring state-level counselling proceeds smoothly alongside the all-India process. Students are encouraged to monitor cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and official KEA notifications closely for detailed instructions on fee payment, reporting timelines, and other counselling formalities.
