Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Postponed; KEA Advises

The authorities have postponed the Round 3 seat allotment for Karnataka NEET 2025 candidates. Students seeking admission to medical, dental, or AYUSH courses in Karnataka must wait for official updates before taking any steps related to seat acceptance or fee payment.

Why the Postponement?

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced that NEET UG Round 2 counselling has been postponed due to additional medical seats released by the National Medical Commission (NMC). This affects Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025, as the allotment of seats in state counselling depends on the updated MCC seat matrix. “Allotted candidates are advised not to take any action till further notice,” the KEA notification dated September 9, 2025, reads.
