The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the second mock allotment result for JoSAA Counselling 2025 today, 11th June 2025. The registration and choice filling window will close on 12th June 2025 at 5 PM, marking the final opportunity for aspirants to confirm and lock their choices.
JoSAA 2025 Counselling: Who Is Eligible?
JoSAA 2025 is being conducted for candidates who have qualified either JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025. Admission to IITs will be offered based on JEE Advanced ranks, while NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and GFTIs will accept JEE Main ranks.
JoSAA 2025 Mock Allotments
The second mock seat allotment released today is based on the choices submitted by candidates up to 10th June. These mock rounds help students evaluate their current preferences and make informed edits before the final seat allotment begins. Two mock allotments have now been declared—on 9th June and 11th June—giving candidates a fair chance to review and adjust choices accordingly.
JoSAA 2025: Registration & Choice Filling Closes 12th June 2025
The JoSAA 2025 registration and choice filling process began on 3rd June and will remain open till 5 PM on 12th June 2025. After this deadline, no further editing or submission of choices will be allowed.
Candidates must log in using their JEE Main/Advanced application credentials, verify the OTP sent to their registered contact details, and confirm their information before accessing the choice filling section.
JoSAA 2025: Number of Choices and Seat Allotment Process
There are a maximum of 627 institute-programme combinations available for selection under JoSAA 2025. While there is no cap on the number of choices a candidate can fill, this can only be done once before Round 1 begins.
The first seat allotment result will be announced on 14th June 2025, and online reporting, document upload, and fee payment for Round 1 will continue until 18th June 2025.

Candidates must be ready with all required documents, including:
- JEE Main/Advanced admit card
- Class 12 marksheet or passing certificate
- Caste or PwD certificate (if applicable)
- State of Eligibility proof
- Medical certificate in JoSAA-prescribed format (Annexure 7, Page 100)
