The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result for 2025 counselling on 2nd July 2025, at 10:00 AM. Candidates who selected the slide or float option in Round 2, as well as those who have not yet received a seat, can check the result on the official website at josaa.nic.in. If a seat is allotted in this round, candidates must complete the following steps between 2nd July and 4th July 2025:
- Choose an option: freeze, slide, or float.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the seat acceptance fee.
- Respond to any queries raised during document verification.
The last date to respond to document verification queries is 5th July 2025.
JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment: Seat Acceptance Fee Details
The seat acceptance fee (SAF) must be paid immediately after seat allotment. Without this payment, document verification cannot continue.
- INR 15,000: SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, and ST-PwD candidates.
- INR 30,000: All other categories.

- Click on the link for the Round 3 seat allotment result.
- Enter your JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
- View and download the result.
- Take a printout for future use.
Upcoming JoSAA 2025 Seat Allotment Dates
JoSAA 2025 counselling is currently in the middle phase. The Round 3 seat allotment will be announced on 2nd July, 2025, followed by document upload, withdrawal, and fee payment steps. Round 4 results will be out on 6th July, 2025, and similar activities will continue for each round. The final seat allotment for IITs (Round 6) will take place on 16th July, 2025. For the NIT+ system, the process will continue until 28th July, 2025, including Partial Admission Fee (PAF) payment and issue resolution. JoSAA 2025 Round 3 Cut-Offs
The opening and closing ranks for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs for Round 3 will be published after the seat allotment result is declared. These ranks help candidates understand the competition level and the range of ranks admitted to different institutes.
No Seat in JoSAA Round 3: What to Do?
After all six JoSAA rounds are over, candidates who have not received any seat can participate in CSAB 2025 special rounds, which will be held for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The process will be hosted on the CSAB website — csab.nic.in.
