- Click on the JoSAA 2025 counselling registration link.
- Log in using the JEE Main or JEE Advanced application number and password.
- After logging in, click on the choice filling link and verify the identity using the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
- Once verification is completed, the total number of available choices, a list of institutes and programs, and a search bar to filter and explore options will be displayed.
- Choices can be added or removed from the list using available commands such as "remove," "up," and "down," based on individual preferences.
- Choices may be rearranged and edited multiple times before the official deadline for locking.
- After finalizing the selection, choices must be saved and locked.
- A printed copy of the locked choice list should be saved for future reference.
JoSAA Counselling Registration: Courses Offered
A wide range of academic programs is available through JoSAA counselling at 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 40 other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). These include:

JoSAA 2025 Seat Acceptance Fee and Document Verification
Filling in choices on the JoSAA online portal does not incur any charges. However, to proceed further in the admission process and secure a seat at an IIT, NIT, or other participating institute, payment of the seat acceptance fee is mandatory. Document verification will only take place after this fee is successfully paid.
For candidates in the General or Open category, the seat acceptance fee is INR 35,000. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Gen-PwD, SC-PwD, ST-PwD, and OBC-NCL-PwD categories, the fee is INR 17,500. Once admission is confirmed, this amount will be adjusted against the semester tuition fees.
