The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has commenced the JoSAA 2025 counselling process for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. JoSAA 2025 Counselling Registration and Choice Filling
JoSAA 2025 registration and choice filling began on 3rd June, 2025 and will continue until 12th June, 2025. To participate, candidates must log in using their JEE Main 2025 application number and password. Those who registered for JEE Advanced 2025 must use the Advanced credentials.
Once logged in, candidates must verify the OTP sent to their registered mobile number and email ID. After checking and updating the displayed details, candidates can confirm registration and begin filling in their preferred choices.
There are 627 program-institute combinations available for selection, and candidates can fill in as many as they desire. However, this choice-filling window is open only once before Round 1 of counselling; it will not reopen in subsequent rounds.
JoSAA 2025 Mock Allotment Result Out Today
The first mock seat allotment for JoSAA 2025 has been announced today, 9th June, 2025 at 8 PM IST, based on choices locked until 8th June, 2025. A second mock allotment will be released on 11th June, 2025, reflecting choices submitted by 10th June, 2025. These mock allotments help candidates reassess and modify their preferences before final seat allocation.

- Next candidates should click on the link labelled as “View Mock Seat Allocation-1 based on the choices filled in by candidates as on June 8, 2025, 20:00 IST"
- Then, candidates must enter their JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
- Under the login, candidates should check the link for mock allotment. Then they must click on the link.
- Upon clicking, the mock allotment result will be displayed.

JoSAA 2025: What is State of Eligibility Proof?
State of Eligibility is determined by the state from which the candidate passed Class 12 or equivalent. Valid documents include the Class 12 certificate or admit card. Students from NIOS or international boards may use alternate identity cards or passports with Indian addresses.
