The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has revised the Class 10 and 12 syllabus 2025 for the upcoming annual exams. The exams are scheduled to be held from October to November 2025 in the Kashmir province, including Kargil district. The syllabus reduction aims to compensate for delays caused by heatwaves, heavy rains, and floods during the academic year.
JKBOSE Syllabus 2025 Revised
As per the official circular, eligible students appearing for the Annual Regular 2025 examination in Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu Division, including UT of Ladakh, will be required to attempt 85 per cent of the total marks, which will correspond to 100 per cent of the syllabus, thus providing 15 per cent relaxation. This reduction applies to Classes 10, 11, and 12, and aims to ensure students are assessed fairly despite the delayed academic calendar.
