The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has revised the Class 10th and 12th syllabus 2025 for the annual examinations. The board also released the JKBOSE 10th date sheet 2025. Exams for the October–November 2025 session in Kashmir province, including Kargil, will be conducted from November 3 to November 27, 2025.
Syllabus Relaxation for JKBOSE Exams 2025
Due to delayed commencement of the academic session and disruptions caused by heat waves, torrential rains, and floods, JKBOSE has introduced a 15% relaxation in the syllabus. According to the board: "Prospective eligible students appearing in Class 10, 11, and 12 in the ensuing Annual Regular, 2025 examination shall attempt 85 per cent marks which will correspond to 100 per cent marks, availing thus 15 per cent relaxation in syllabus." The question papers will be set from the revised syllabus. Students will attempt at least 85% of the marks within the internal choice provided. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and grammar portions in language subjects will follow the same marking scheme.
