JKBOPEE BEd 2025: Special Counselling Round on October 10, 2025

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced a special counselling round for BEd admissions 2025, which will take place on October 10, 2025. The move aims to fill the remaining vacant seats after the completion of the second mop-up round. According to the official notice, candidates ranked 1 to 400 across all categories, including reserved ones, are eligible to participate. They must report to the JKBOPEE office between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM for document verification.

Who Can Participate in JKBOPEE BEd 2025 Special Round?

The board has clarified that the following categories of candidates can attend the special counselling round:

  • Those who did not receive a seat in the first, second, or mop-up round.
  • Those who were allotted a seat earlier and have already joined the college.
  • Candidates allotted a seat earlier but unable to join due to reasons like incomplete documentation, non-payment of fees, or absence during reporting.
  • Those who resigned from a previously allotted seat.
  • Candidates who appeared for the BEd Entrance Test 2025 but did not participate in any counselling round.

Participants who did not pay the counselling fee earlier must submit INR 1,000 online before attending the session. Those who paid in previous rounds are exempt from repaying.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must carry the following original documents for verification at the counselling venue:

  • Domicile Certificate
  • Academic marks cards
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Valid ID proof

A seat matrix detailing available colleges and courses will be published on the official JKBOPEE website a day before counselling begins.

Important Counselling Guidelines

Filling college preferences during the counselling process does not guarantee seat allotment. Final admission will depend on eligibility, seat availability, and verification by the respective colleges. If a candidate cannot attend the session personally, a close family member (blood relative) may represent them with an authorization letter, valid ID proof, and Aadhaar card. Without these documents, participation will not be allowed.
