Jharkhand NEET PG 2025 Round-1 Allotment Out: RIMS Leads in MD Picks

The counselling process for NEET PG 2025 in Jharkhand witnessed a major update as the Round-1 seat allotment result was released by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). A total of 99 candidates have been allotted seats at the premier Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi — with MD Radiology and MD General Medicine emerging as the top preferred courses this year. Successful candidates must download their allotment letter and complete document verification by 03 Dec 2025 to confirm admission under Round-1.

What Round-1 Allotment Means for Jharkhand NEET PG 2025?

The seat allotment process uses candidate rank, choice filling and seat matrix to allocate seats for MD, MS and PG diploma courses across Jharkhand medical colleges. With 99 seats locked at RIMS, Ranchi has become the top pick this year. Candidates allotted elsewhere still have the option to upgrade during Round-2 or opt out as per counselling norms. Students who want to secure their seat must complete the following steps before the deadline: download allotment letter, report for verification, and submit required documents and fees.

RIMS Ranchi Leads Preference for Radiology & Medicine

At RIMS Ranchi, demand for clinical courses remains high. Among the 99 allotments:

• MD Radiology and MD General Medicine were most selected.
• Other specialities and PG courses were also allotted based on availability and candidate preference from the counselling pool.

This trend aligns with nationwide patterns seen in NEET PG 2025 — many top-ranked students choosing General Medicine or Radiology for broader career prospects and specialisation options.

Key Important Dates & Next Steps for Admitted Candidates

Candidates allotted seats in Round-1 must note the following deadlines:

• Download Allotment Letter: Immediately after release
• Document Verification & Admission: Till 03 Dec 2025
• Admission Confirmation: Complete fee payment and verification processes during this period

Applicants are also advised to check official JCECEB notifications regularly for updates related to seat confirmation or further counselling rounds.
