The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the JEECUP Counselling 2026 schedule for admission to diploma and polytechnic programmes across government, aided and private institutions in the state. Candidates belonging to Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K1 and L can begin the Round 1 counselling process from June 25, 2026, through the official counselling portal. How to Complete JEECUP Counselling 2026 Registration?

Candidates must complete the online counselling process within the specified dates to be considered for seat allotment. Candidates should carefully review their choices before locking them, as modifications may not be allowed after the deadline. The registration process includes the following steps:

2. Log in using the application number and password.
3. Complete the counselling registration.

JEECUP Counselling 2026 Seat Allotment and Freeze or Float Option

After the completion of choice filling, the council will publish the Round 1 seat allotment result on July 01, 2026. Candidates allotted a seat will have the option to either Freeze or Float their allotment. Candidates selecting either option must complete fee payment and document verification within the prescribed schedule to retain their eligibility.

• Freeze: Accept the allotted institute and proceed with admission.
• Float: Retain the current seat while remaining eligible for a better option in subsequent rounds.

After seat allotment, candidates are required to pay the seat acceptance-cum-counselling fee through online mode before reporting for document verification.
