JEE Main Result 2026 Official Websites and Cut-Off Details

The result and cut-off marks will be available on the official portals only. Before checking the result, candidates should verify the correct website links to avoid fraudulent platforms. The official websites are:

  • jeemain.nta.ac.in
  • nta.ac.in

The agency has cautioned students against fake websites that slightly alter domain names. Unofficial portals often replace “.nic.in” with “.com” or add misleading words to appear authentic. Students are advised to access results only through official NTA platforms.

JEE Main January Session 2026 Exam Dates and Shifts

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination was conducted from 21 January 2026 to 29 January 2026 in computer-based mode. The exam was held in two shifts daily. The morning shift took place from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift was conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. More than 13 lakh candidates appeared for the examination across various centres.

JEE Main 2026 Normalisation Process and Percentile Score

NTA follows a normalisation process to ensure fairness across multiple shifts. Raw marks are converted into a standardised NTA score or percentile ranging from 100 to 0. This method accounts for variations in difficulty levels between different sessions. The percentile score determines eligibility for JEE Advanced and admissions to participating institutions.

JEE Main 2026 Admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs

JEE Main serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes. Qualified candidates become eligible for admission to institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government-funded Technical Institutes.

Meanwhile, the application process for the April session has already commenced. Candidates planning to improve their scores can apply within the prescribed deadline on the official website.
