The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the JEE Main Result 2026 for Session 1 by 16 February 2026. The revised timeline confirms that the result may be published anytime on or before the specified date. The result link has been activated, and candidates will be able to download the JEE Main scorecard 2026 once it is officially released.

 

JEE Main Result 2026: Revised Date and Key Highlights

Earlier scheduled for 12 February 2026, the result announcement has been postponed. As per the updated notice, the Session 1 result will now be declared by 16 February 2026. The JEE Main 2026 scorecard will include:

  • Percentile score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Aggregate percentile score
  • Qualification status
  • Candidate details

The JEE Main toppers list 2026 will also be released along with the scorecards. However, the All India Rank (AIR) and official JEE Main cutoff 2026 for JEE Advanced will not be declared with the Session 1 result. Those details will be published after Session 2 results in April.

 

JEE Main Final Answer Key 2026 Before Result

Before announcing the result, NTA will publish the JEE Main final answer key 2026. The Session 1 result will be prepared based on the marks calculated using this final answer key. Candidates are advised to verify their responses once the final key is issued, as the evaluation will strictly follow the corrected answers.

Candidates can access the JEE Main result 2026 through the official login portal using their credentials. The steps to check the result are provided below:

  • Visit the official JEE Main website
  • Click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result link
  • Enter application number and password or date of birth
  • Submit the details
  • View and download the scorecard

It is recommended to keep a printed copy of the JEE Main scorecard 2026 for admission and counselling purposes.

 

Expected JEE Main Cutoff 2026 for JEE Advanced

The cutoff percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced is expected to be announced after the April session. Based on trends, the expected cutoff percentile for 2026 is as follows:
