The JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026 is expected to be released shortly as Session 1 exams begin from 21 January 2026. Candidates and parents are advised to complete key preparations in advance.
JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026 is expected to be released soon, as the National Testing Agency prepares for the commencement of Session 1 examinations. The first phase of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 is scheduled to begin on 21 January 2026. The city intimation slip has already been issued on 08 January 2026, while the hall ticket containing exam centre address, shift timing, and roll number is awaited.
Expected JEE Main Admit Card Release Timeline
As per the information mentioned in the official examination brochure, the JEE Main admit card is issued 3 to 4 days before the examination date. Based on this schedule, the hall ticket is expected to be released around 17 January 2026 or 18 January 2026. The release of the hall ticket marks the final stage of preparations before the examination window opens.
Key Preparations Candidates Should Complete Before Hall Ticket Release
Candidates are advised not to delay exam-related arrangements while waiting for the hall ticket. Several essential checks can be completed in advance to avoid last-minute stress. Important steps include arranging multiple copies of the same photograph used during registration, keeping an original government-issued identity proof ready, and ensuring that exam-day clothing follows basic guidelines. While no formal dress code has been prescribed, candidates are advised to wear simple clothing and avoid metal accessories or footwear with thick soles.
Important Advisory for Parents of JEE Main Candidates
Parents play a critical role during the final phase of preparation. If the allotted exam city is far from the candidate’s residence, travel and accommodation arrangements should be finalised well in advance. Once the hall ticket is issued, it is advisable to check the exact location of the exam centre and, if possible, conduct a preliminary visit to assess travel time and traffic conditions. Maintaining a calm and supportive home environment during this period can help candidates remain focused.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Schedule
The JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) examination will be conducted on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2026. The Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) examination is scheduled for 29 January 2026.
