JEE Main 2026 Toppers List Out; 12 Score 100 Percentile

NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 toppers list with 12 candidates scoring a perfect 100 percentile. Rajasthan emerged as the top-performing state with three students in the elite list.

JEE Main 2026 Toppers List Out as the National Testing Agency declared the Session 1 results on 16 February 2026. A total of 12 candidates secured a perfect 100 NTA percentile in Paper 1 (BE/BTech), marking an exceptional performance in the January session. Rajasthan emerged as the best-performing state, contributing three students to the exclusive list of 100 percentile scorers.

 

JEE Main 2026 Session 1: List of 100 Percentile Toppers

The January session witnessed over 13 lakh aspirants appearing for the engineering entrance examination. Among them, 12 candidates achieved the coveted 100 percentile score. The complete list of candidates who secured 100 percentile is given below:

  • Shreyas Mishra – Delhi (NCT)
  • Narendrababu Gari Mahith – Andhra Pradesh
  • Shubham Kumar – Bihar
  • Kabeer Chhillar – Rajasthan
  • Chiranjib Kar – Rajasthan
  • Bhavesh Patra – Odisha
  • Anay Jain – Haryana
  • Arnav Gautam – Rajasthan
  • Pasala Mohith – Andhra Pradesh
  • Madhav Viradiya – Maharashtra
  • Purohit Nimay – Gujarat
  • Vivan Sharad Mahiswari – Telangana

Out of the 12 toppers, 11 belong to the General category, while one candidate secured 100 percentile in the OBC-NCL category.

 

State-Wise Performance in JEE Main 2026

Rajasthan led the state-wise performance with three candidates achieving a perfect score. Andhra Pradesh followed with two toppers. States with one topper each include Delhi, Bihar, Odisha, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Telangana. This distribution highlights strong regional representation across the country.

 

Category-Wise Toppers and Female Top Performer

In addition to the 100 percentile scorers, NTA released category-wise topper data.Key category performers include:

  • OBC-NCL: Narendrababu Gari Mahith – 100 percentile
  • Gen-EWS: Shresth Jasoria (Rajasthan) – 99.9992442 percentile
  • SC: Deva Srivedh (Andhra Pradesh) – 99.9992271 percentile
  • ST: Daksh Sehra (Rajasthan) – 99.9938620 percentile
  • PwBD: Arsh Jain (Madhya Pradesh) – 99.9100843 percentile

Ashi Grewal from Haryana emerged as the female topper with 99.9969766 percentile, though no female candidate secured 100 percentile in this session.

 

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Statistics

The examination saw significant participation nationwide. Key statistics are as follows:

  • 13,55,293 candidates registered
  • 13,04,653 candidates appeared
  • 96.26% attendance rate
  • Conducted across 658 centres in 326 cities, including 15 international locations
  • Exam held in 13 regional languages
  • Conducted in CBT mode on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2026

With Session 1 results declared, attention now shifts to the upcoming April session and eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026. Candidates who did not achieve their desired percentile in January will have another opportunity to improve their scores in the next phase.
