The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registration will close on 25 February 2026. The online application form is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and candidates are advised to complete all steps before the deadline as no extensions will be provided. Meanwhile, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 2 final answer keys have been released, and results are expected shortly.

 

How to Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2?

Candidates appearing for the first time must complete the following steps:

  1. Registration: Sign up with valid details including email and mobile number.
  2. Application Form: Fill in personal, academic, and exam-related details.
  3. Live Photo Capture: Complete the live photograph process as instructed.
  4. Document Upload: Upload scanned certificates and photographs as per specifications.
  5. Application Fee Payment: Pay the applicable fee online.
  6. Confirmation Page: Download and save for future reference.

Reappearing candidates who have already applied for Session 1 can skip initial steps and directly select paper and exam city, then pay the application fee to complete registration.

 

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration: Last-Minute Checklist

Candidates must ensure the following to avoid application rejection:

  • Photograph: Upload a coloured scanned photo with 80% face visible on a white background.
  • Correct Details: Verify mobile number, email ID, address, emergency contact, and live photograph, as these cannot be corrected later.
  • Avoid Last-Minute Submission: High traffic may cause submission failures, so complete the form early.
