JEE Main Session 2: Correction Window and Application Edits

After registration closes, the form correction window will be available from 27 to 28 February 2026. During this period, candidates can update certain details in their submitted forms, such as:

  • Exam medium
  • Exam city preference
  • Personal and academic details

No new registrations will be allowed during the correction period.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Pattern & What to Expect?

JEE Main Session 2 will test candidates on key subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics through objective multiple-choice questions. The exam serves as a gateway for admissions to:

  • B.Tech programmes at NITs, IIITs and GFITs
  • B.Arch and B.Planning programmes (with subject-specific papers)

Results will be based on candidate performance in both sessions, and candidates can leverage better scores from either Session 1 or Session 2 for admission merit.

After the JEE Main Exam: Answer Key & Result

Post-exam, NTA will release an unofficial as well as an official answer key, followed by the final result. Scores are expected to be compiled and declared online. Qualified candidates may participate in subsequent admission counselling rounds coordinated by the respective authorities for engineering and architecture seats. Students are encouraged to monitor jeemain.nta.nic.in for confirmed dates, admit card links and official notifications to stay updated through the JEE Main 2026 cycle.
