The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam is approaching, and candidates must follow strict exam day instructions. NTA has detailed the documents to carry, items prohibited, and the complete exam pattern for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlan).
JEE Main 2026 Documents Candidates Must Carry
Candidates will not be allowed to appear without the following:
- Printed copy of JEE Main 2026 admit card with the Self Declaration, filled and printed on A4 paper.
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded in application) for pasting on the attendance sheet.
- Any one authorized photo ID (original, valid, non-expired):
- School Identity Card
- PAN Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar (with photograph)
- Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph
- Bank Passbook with photograph
- PwD / PwBD certificate, if applicable
- A simple transparent ballpoint pen
JEE Main 2026 Items Not Allowed in Exam Hall
Candidates must not carry:
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches
- Calculators, electronic gadgets, accessories
- Written or printed papers
- Other stationery items except allowed pen
