NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam day instructions. Candidates must carry the admit card, ID proof, and follow all rules. Complete exam pattern for Paper 1, Paper 2A, and Paper 2B is now available.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam Instructions, Documents & Complete Exam Pattern Details

The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam is approaching, and candidates must follow strict exam day instructions. NTA has detailed the documents to carry, items prohibited, and the complete exam pattern for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlan).

 

JEE Main 2026 Documents Candidates Must Carry

Candidates will not be allowed to appear without the following:

  • Printed copy of JEE Main 2026 admit card with the Self Declaration, filled and printed on A4 paper.
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded in application) for pasting on the attendance sheet.
  • Any one authorized photo ID (original, valid, non-expired):
    • School Identity Card
    • PAN Card
    • Voter ID
    • Passport
    • Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar (with photograph)
    • Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph
    • Bank Passbook with photograph
    • PwD / PwBD certificate, if applicable
  • A simple transparent ballpoint pen

 

JEE Main 2026 Items Not Allowed in Exam Hall

Candidates must not carry:

  • Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches
  • Calculators, electronic gadgets, accessories
  • Written or printed papers
  • Other stationery items except allowed pen

  • Arrive at least one hour before exam time.
  • Carry admit card, ID proof, photograph, and required pen.
  • Follow all NTA instructions regarding seating, COVID-19 precautions, and exam hall discipline.
