NTA will announce the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result by 16 February 2026 on its official website. Candidates can download the scorecard using login credentials. The final answer key, percentile scores, cut-off and AIR details will be released along with the result.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result by 16 February at NTA as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed the revised timeline for the scorecard release. Candidates will be able to access the result online through the official website. The result will include percentile scores, All India Rank and qualifying status.

 

JEE Main 2026 Result Date and Official Website

The National Testing Agency will declare the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result by 16 February 2026. The result link will be activated on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must keep their application number and password or date of birth ready to log in and download the scorecard. The result will be available only in online mode and no hard copy will be sent. The scorecard will mention the following details: Before checking the result, candidates should verify the information carefully. The scorecard will include subject-wise performance and overall qualifying status.

  • NTA percentile score (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)

JEE Main 2026 Final Answer Key and Percentile Calculation

NTA is also expected to release the final answer key along with or before the result declaration. The percentile score is calculated based on the relative performance of candidates across different shifts. The normalisation process ensures fairness as the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The best percentile score among the sessions will be considered for preparing the final merit list.

 

JEE Main 2026 Cut-off and Counselling Process

After the result announcement, NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 cut-off percentile for eligibility to appear in JEE Advanced 2026. The category-wise qualifying marks will be published officially. Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the JoSAA counselling 2026 process for admission to:

 

The counselling process will begin after the declaration of JEE Advanced results. Admissions will be granted based on rank, category, seat availability and choice preferences.
