JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration Last Date Today, No Extension

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially clarified that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration last date will not be extended. As per the latest notice, the application process closes today, 27 November 2025, at 09:00 PM, while the last time for fee payment is 11:50 PM. The confirmation comes amid growing speculation among aspirants regarding a possible deadline extension. NTA has clearly stated in its public notice that candidates who fail to complete the application and fee submission within the prescribed time will not be allowed to apply later. Aspirants are advised not to wait for last-minute extensions, as the agency has followed a strict no-extension policy in recent sessions.

Will JEE Main 2026 Registration Be Extended?

Based on the official clarification and previous year trends, there is no possibility of extension for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration. Last year too, the registration deadline was strictly followed without any relaxation. NTA generally considers extensions only in extraordinary situations such as technical disruptions across a large number of users. However, no such notification has been issued so far for JEE Main 2026. Hence, candidates who are yet to complete the process must act immediately.
