JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Dates Clash with TS Inter Practical Exams

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 from 21 to 30 January 2026. Meanwhile, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has scheduled the TS Inter 2026 English practical exams for 21 and 22 January 2026, which coincides with the start of the JEE Main session. This overlap has raised concerns among students preparing for both exams.

Alternative Arrangements for TS Inter Practical Exams

Officials from TSBIE have confirmed that students affected by the clash will be given alternative practical exam slots. This adjustment ensures candidates can appear for both the JEE Main 2026 and TS Inter English practical examswithout facing any conflict. Authorities have reassured students that they can safely plan for both tests.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates and Application Details

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 is scheduled from 21 to 30 January 2026. The Session 2 exam, initially planned from 1 to 10 April 2026, has been revised to 2 to 9 April 2026. Candidates can apply for the JEE Main 2026 exam until 27 November 2025.

To avoid clashes with board exams such as CBSE and state boards, NTA now requires aspirants to enter their class 11 registration number during form submission. This measure helps schedule exams without overlapping with other academic tests.
