Important Details on JEE Main Scorecard and Next Steps
The JEE Main scorecard is a key document for candidates aiming for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other centrally funded technical institutions. It also determines eligibility for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam and subsequent seat allocation rounds through JoSAA counselling. Students should ensure they download and verify their scorecards immediately, as these will be essential during the counselling and verification stages. In case of high website traffic or technical issues on the official portal, candidates are advised to wait and avoid unofficial third-party sites that may provide misleading information. With the Session 1 results now live, candidates can plan for JEE Advanced registration if eligible, or opt to improve their performance by appearing in Session 2 of JEE Main 2026, scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2026. Overall, the activation of the scorecard link marks a significant milestone for engineering aspirants this year, enabling them to proceed with the admission process and future competitive examinations.
