JEE Main 2026 Result Date Confirmed: Scorecards by 16 February

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will be released by 16 February 2026, a slight revision from the earlier schedule. Students who appeared for the January session can check their results and download the scorecard from the official portal soon.

JEE Main 2026 Result Date and How to Check

The NTA will publish the results and scorecards for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 on jeemain.nta.nic.in by 16 February 2026. This new date replaces the previously expected result date of 12 February 2026 after evaluation procedures and final answer key review were completed.

To access the result once live:

  • Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Scorecard link.
  • Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password.
  • View and download the scorecard for future reference.

This scorecard will display subject-wise percentiles, total percentile score, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and qualification status for JEE Advanced, where applicable.

Expected Cutoff and Next Steps

While the official JEE Main 2026 cutoff for various categories will be confirmed after both sessions are completed, preliminary projections suggest:

  • General (UR): 93-95 percentile
  • OBC-NCL: 80-82 percentile
  • SC: 60-62 percentile
  • ST: 47-49 percentile

These cutoffs are based on trends and are subject to change when the NTA publishes official details.

Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria will become eligible to register for JoSAA counselling and participate in admissions to NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes. Eligibility for JEE Advanced also depends on rank and performance.

JEE Main 2026 Toppers and Merit List

Alongside the scorecards, the NTA is expected to release the list of top performers. Last year, several candidates achieved perfect 100 percentile scores, underlining strong competition.
