JEE Main 2026 Response Sheet Released; Download PDF by Feb 5

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 candidate response sheet on 4 February 2026. Candidates who appeared for the January session examination can now view and download their recorded responses through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The response sheet is an important document as it displays the answers marked by candidates during the examination. NTA has made the response sheet available only for a short duration, and it will remain accessible under candidate login until 5 February 2026. After this deadline, the response sheet link may no longer be visible on the portal. The release of the response sheet comes alongside the provisional answer key, allowing students to cross-check their responses and estimate their expected scores before the official result announcement.

Steps to Download JEE Main 2026 Response Sheet from jeemain.nta.nic.in

Candidates must complete the download process carefully before the link is removed. The response sheet will be available only through individual login credentials. The official steps are given below:

  • Enter the application number, password, and CAPTCHA code
  • After logging in, open the candidate dashboard
  • Click on the response sheet link available there
  • Use the print/download option to save the response sheet PDF for reference

The response sheet includes the question paper details along with the answers selected by the candidate during the test.

Why the JEE Main Response Sheet is Important?

The response sheet plays a crucial role in helping candidates analyse their performance. By comparing it with the provisional answer key, candidates can calculate their probable marks using the marking scheme. It also helps candidates identify any possible discrepancies before the final answer key is released. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result is expected to be announced on 12 February 2026, making the response sheet a key resource for early score estimation. Candidates are advised to download and keep a copy safely before the deadline.
