The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates can access their JEE Main 2026 response sheets and provisional answer keys starting February 4, 2026. These documents are available under candidate login using the application number and password.

- Roll number
- Test date & time
- Subjects and sections
- Question IDs, question type, and options
- Status of each question (answered/unanswered)
- Candidate’s marked response
The response sheet is essential to calculate estimated scores by comparing it with the provisional answer keys.
Challenging the Provisional Answer Keys
Candidates can submit challenges to the provisional answer keys under their login.
- Challenge fee: Approx. INR 200 per question (as per last year)
- NTA will review challenges and release final answer keys along with the JEE Main 2026 session 1 result on February 12, 2026.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration
- Registration for Session 2 (April) is ongoing at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Last date to register: February 25, 2026
- Candidates who appeared in Session 1 can log in with their existing credentials and update details for Session 2.
Candidates are advised to download the response sheets and provisional answer keys promptly, verify details, and calculate scores to prepare for counselling and next steps.
