JEE Main 2026 Registration Session 1 Closes on November 27

JEE Main 2026 registration for session one will close on November 27, 2025, as confirmed by the National Testing Agency. The application form is available on the official portal, and students must complete the submission process before the deadline. The authority will open the correction window from December 1 to December 2, 2025.

The agency has clearly stated that the registration deadline will not be extended this year.

JEE Main 2026 Application Form and Deadline Details

The National Testing Agency is conducting the JEE Main 2026 registration process for session one on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students must fill in personal details, upload documents, capture a live photograph and pay the required fee before the last date.

The process must be completed early to avoid last-minute server issues.

What’s New in the JEE Main 2026 Application Process?

NTA has introduced new changes to the JEE Main 2026 application system. These updates aim to strengthen verification and reduce errors.

The points below summarise all major changes announced for the upcoming session.

• Mandatory live photo capture using a webcam
• Automatic identity verification during registration
• Aadhaar address-based centre allocation
• Revised file size limits: photo ten KB to two hundred KB, signature ten KB to one hundred KB
• PwD candidates must upload UDID certificate in PDF (fifty KB to three hundred KB)
• No correction allowed for the uploaded photo after submission
• Correction window open only on December one and December two

JEE Main 2026 Correction Window

The correction window allows students to edit certain fields in the application form. This facility will be active from December 1 to 2, 2025. Students are advised to check all entries before saving the final version, as photo corrections will not be permitted.

Further updates will be issued by NTA if any additional guidelines are released.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates and Mode

The JEE Main 2026 exam will be held in two sessions. Session one is scheduled from January 21 to January 30, 2026, while session two will take place from April 2 to April 9, 2026.

The exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode in thirteen languages, including English, Hindi and several regional languages.
