JEE Main 2026 Registration Live at jeemain.nta.nic.in: Form Soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the JEE Main 2026 registration process soon. As per official sources, the application form is likely to be released between October 10 and October 15, 2025, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Once the registration link is activated, eligible candidates can fill out the JEE Main application form 2026 in online mode only.

 

JEE Main 2026 Registration Details

The NTA will conduct JEE Main 2026 in two sessionsJanuary and April 2026. Candidates appearing in the first session can also apply for the second session separately. Early registration is recommended to ensure a better chance of securing a preferred exam centre. Before applying, aspirants must ensure that their documents, such as Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate, and UDID Card, are updated and accurate. The NTA has clarified that reports about changes in exam city choices are false. The JEE Main 2026 notification is not connected to centre allotment procedures.

 

JEE Main 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the NTA before applying for the JEE Main 2026 exam.

  • Must be Indian citizens; Foreign Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, and PIOs are also eligible.
  • Candidates must have completed or be appearing in Class 12 in 2024 or 2025.
  • No age limit is prescribed for JEE Main 2026.
  • There is no minimum percentage requirement in Class 12.
  • Candidates can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing Class 12.

JEE Main 2026 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The JEE Main 2026 syllabus will remain aligned with the NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum. The paper will include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections for B.E./B.Tech aspirants.

  • Mode of Exam: Online (CBT)
  • Duration: Three hours
  • Total Marks: 300
  • Type of Questions: MCQs and numerical value-based
  • Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answers, −1 for incorrect

The B.Arch (Paper 2A) and B.Planning (Paper 2B) papers will include Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing or Planning-based questions, respectively.
