The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application form correction window has officially opened, allowing registered candidates to modify their submitted details online. The correction facility, activated on February 27, 2026, will remain available till February 28, 2026, as per the notification issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This is a one-time opportunity for candidates appearing in the April session to ensure that their application details are accurate before the examination process begins.

 

How to Edit JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Application Form?

Candidates who wish to make corrections can follow the step-by-step process outlined below:

  1. Visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the link titled “JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction” on the homepage
  3. Log in using your application number and password
  4. Read the instructions carefully and complete OTP verification
  5. The application form will appear on the screen
  6. Edit the permissible fields as required
  7. Review all details thoroughly before submission
  8. Submit the corrected form and pay the applicable correction fee, if prompted

Once the form is submitted, no further corrections will be allowed under any circumstances.

 

Which Details Can Be Edited?

NTA has allowed corrections in most sections of the application form. Editable fields include:

  • Candidate’s name, parents’ names, and date of birth
  • Category and PwD status
  • Medium of question paper
  • Academic details (Class 12 board, year of passing, marks)
  • Choice of exam cities and session
  • Uploaded documents (where permitted)

However, certain critical details cannot be changed, such as:

  • Registered mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Permanent and present address
  • Emergency contact details
  • Uploaded photograph

Candidates are advised to cross-check all entries carefully to avoid discrepancies during admit card issuance or counselling.

 

What Happens After the Correction Window Closes?

After the form correction window closes on February 28, the submitted details will be treated as final. Based on this information, NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 city intimation slip in the first week of April 2026. This slip will inform candidates about the city where their examination centre has been allotted. The JEE Main 2026 admit card will be issued approximately 3–4 days before the exam, containing details such as exam date, shift, centre address, and important exam-day instructions.

 

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam Schedule

The JEE Main 2026 April session is scheduled to be conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026. The detailed subject-wise and shift-wise schedule will be announced soon on the official website. Candidates are strongly advised to complete the correction process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure a smooth examination process.
