JEE Main 2026 Final Answer Key: Latest Update
The NTA had earlier released the provisional JEE Main 2026 answer key and invited objections from candidates. All challenges have now been reviewed, and any corrections approved by NTA will be reflected in the final answer key. If any question is dropped in the final keys, candidates appearing in that particular shift will be awarded full bonus marks.
What Will the Final JEE Main Answer Key Include?
The JEE Main 2026 final answer key PDF will contain:

- Correct answer IDs after revision
- Dropped questions, if any
The final answer key will not be open for further challenges. Marks calculated using the final key will be the most accurate estimate of a candidate’s raw score.

Bonus Marks and Dropped Questions in JEE Main 2026
As per expert analysis, some questions from Session 1 have a high probability of correction or being dropped. For each dropped question, +4 marks will be awarded to all candidates of that shift.
How to Calculate JEE Main 2026 Score Using Final Answer Key?
Candidates can calculate their probable raw score by matching the question ID and answer ID in the response sheet with the final answer key.
- Correct answer: +4 marks
- Incorrect answer: -1 mark
- Unattempted question: 0 marks
- Dropped question: +4 marks
The raw score will later be converted into a percentile score to normalise difficulty across shifts.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Date

The result will be released as a scorecard under the candidate login and will display percentile scores only, not raw marks. Along with the result, NTA will also announce the JEE Main 2026 toppers, who have secured 100 percentile in the examination.
