The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 final answer key today on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The final answer key will be published in PDF format and will be used to prepare the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result, which is scheduled to be announced by 12 February 2026.

 

JEE Main Final Answer Key 2026 Release Details

The JEE Main final answer key will be released without any login requirement, allowing candidates to directly download the PDF from the official portal. The document will include exam date, shift details, subject-wise question IDs, and corresponding correct answer IDs.Unlike the provisional answer key, the final answer key cannot be challenged under any circumstances. NTA has already removed the provisional keys and candidate response sheets from individual logins after completing the objection review process.Candidates are advised to carefully match the question ID and answer ID mentioned in the final key with their response sheet to estimate their probable scores.

Subject experts have indicated that certain questions across multiple shifts may be corrected or dropped in the final answer key. What Happens After the Final Answer Key?

Once the final answer key is released, NTA will proceed with the declaration of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result. The result will include percentile scores, subject-wise performance, and All India Rank, which will be used for JoSAA counselling and eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026.
