JEE Main 2026 Exam Centres in Delhi NCR: Locations and Guidelines

JEE Main 2026 Exam Centres in Delhi NCR: Locations and Guidelines are crucial for candidates appearing from the National Capital Region. Delhi NCR remains one of the most preferred exam regions due to its connectivity and availability of multiple examination venues. Candidates allotted centres in this region should be aware of key locations, reporting procedures and exam-day requirements to avoid inconvenience.

Major JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre Locations in Delhi NCR

The Delhi NCR region includes Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad. JEE Main 2026 exam centres are spread across these areas to accommodate a large number of candidates. Exam venues are generally located in educational institutions, government schools, and authorised computer-based testing centres. These locations are chosen to ensure accessibility through public transport and road connectivity.

Allocation of Delhi NCR Exam Centres

Exam centre allotment in Delhi NCR is based on preferences selected during the application process. Due to high demand, candidates may be allotted centres in nearby NCR cities even if Delhi is selected as the first preference. Once allotted, the centre city cannot be changed. The exact venue address is provided only through the admit card, and candidates are advised to check it carefully.

Details Mentioned on Admit Card for NCR Candidates

The JEE Main 2026 admit card carries critical information such as exam centre address, reporting time, gate closing time, and shift details. Candidates must ensure that the name and photograph printed on the admit card match their identity proof. Any mismatch or error should be reported immediately through official channels to avoid issues on the examination day.

Reporting Time and Entry Guidelines

Candidates must reach the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket. Entry gates close strictly as per schedule, and late arrivals are generally not permitted. Biometric verification, frisking, and document checking are mandatory procedures at Delhi NCR centres due to higher candidate volume. Candidates should cooperate with staff and follow all instructions carefully.

Travel and Safety Tips for Delhi NCR Exam Centres

Given the traffic conditions in Delhi NCR, candidates are advised to plan travel in advance. Using metro services or reaching the venue a day earlier can help reduce stress. Candidates appearing in winter months should account for fog-related delays, especially in early morning shifts. Keeping buffer time for travel is strongly recommended.

Facilities Available at NCR Exam Centres

Delhi NCR exam centres are equipped with necessary infrastructure including computer systems, surveillance, and seating arrangements. Basic amenities such as drinking water and washrooms are usually available. However, candidates should not expect storage facilities for personal belongings. Carrying only permitted items is strongly advised.

Importance of Verifying Centre Location Before Exam Day

Visiting the exam centre location in advance helps candidates estimate travel time and locate entry points. Familiarity with the venue can significantly reduce anxiety on the exam day. Candidates should rely only on official information mentioned on the admit card and avoid unverified sources for centre details.

Final Advisory for Candidates

JEE Main 2026 candidates appearing at Delhi NCR centres should regularly check official notifications for any last-minute instructions. Keeping the admit card safe and following all guidelines ensures a smooth examination experience.
