JEE Main 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: What to Carry

Candidates must carry only the required documents to the exam centre.

  • Printed Admit Card (A4 size) with self-declaration
  • Valid Photo ID (original)
  • Passport-size photographs (same as application form)
  • Transparent ballpoint pen
  • Transparent water bottle
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

Failure to produce required documents may lead to denial of entry.

 

Items Not Allowed Inside JEE Main Exam Centre

Certain items are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

  • Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches
  • Study material or written notes
  • Jewellery and metal accessories
  • Clothing with large buttons
  • Thick-soled shoes

Strict frisking and biometric verification will be conducted before entry.

 

JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Date & Response Sheet Details

After the exam concludes at 6 PM, memory-based questions and initial analysis will start appearing. The JEE Main 2026 answer key is expected by 10 April 2026. Along with the answer key, the response sheet will also be released. Candidates will be able to download both from the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in The response sheet will include answers marked during the exam, helping candidates estimate their scores.
