JEE Main 2026 Answer Key OUT; Challenge Till Feb 6, Result by Feb 12

NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key and response sheet. Candidates can challenge the answer key till February 6, while the result is expected by February 12.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key along with the candidate response sheets. Candidates who appeared for the January session can now download both documents from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their login credentials. Along with the answer key, NTA has activated the answer key challenge window, allowing candidates to raise objections against the provisional keys.

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can submit objections within the given timeframe. Each challenge must be supported with valid proof and requires payment of a non-refundable fee.

The response sheet and challenge facility will remain accessible only till the challenge deadline.

Login using application number and password
Select the question ID and choose the correct option
Upload supporting documents in a single PDF
Save the claim and pay the challenge fee
Submit the objection

JEE Main 2026 Result Date (Session 1)

NTA has confirmed that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will be declared by February 12, 2026. The result will include:

Subject-wise percentile (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
Overall percentile score

Ranks and cut-off marks will not be released with the Session 1 result.

+4 marks for each correct answer
–1 mark for each incorrect answer
No negative marking for unattempted questions
