JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Session 1 Date Soon; City Slip Update

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card for Session 1 around January 18 or January 19, 2026, based on past trends. As per the official schedule, JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be conducted from January 21 to January 30, 2026. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket only through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

 

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Session 1 Release Date

The JEE Main Admit Card 2026 will be issued three to four days before the examination date. To access the hall ticket, candidates will need their application number and password or date of birth. No physical copy of the admit card will be sent by post. The admit card will mention key details such as:

  • Candidate’s name and roll number
  • Exam centre name and complete address
  • Exam date, shift timing, and reporting time
  • Important exam day guidelines

Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details printed on the admit card and report discrepancies, if any, to the NTA at the earliest.

 

JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip Date

Before the release of the admit card, NTA will issue the JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip for Session 1. As per updates, the city slip is expected to be released in the first week of January 2026. However, the exact date has not been officially confirmed yet. The city intimation slip will inform candidates about:

  • Allotted exam city
  • Exam date (tentative)

It is important to note that the city intimation slip is not the admit card and cannot be used to enter the examination hall. Candidates should use this information to plan travel and accommodation in advance.

 

How to Download JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Session 1?

Candidates can follow the steps below to download the hall ticket once released:

  • Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Session 1 link
  • Enter application number and password or date of birth
  • Submit the login details
  • Download and save the JEE Main admit card PDF
  • Take a clear printout for exam day use

 

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the JEE Main 2026 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. Entry will not be permitted without these documents. Candidates should also strictly follow the instructions mentioned on the hall ticket to avoid disqualification.
