The National Testing Agency has released JEE Main 2026 admit cards for candidates scheduled to appear between 21 January and 24 January 2026. Hall tickets for the remaining exam dates of 28 January and 29 January 2026 are expected to be issued soon.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Released for Jan 21–24 Exams by NTA

The National Testing Agency has made available the JEE Main 2026 admit card for candidates appearing in the January session examinations scheduled from 21 January 2026 to 24 January 2026. Candidates allotted exam dates on 28 January 2026 and 29 January 2026 will receive their hall tickets at a later stage. The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination centre and must be carried in printed form on the exam day.

 

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Availability Status

The JEE Main 2026 January session is being conducted on multiple dates across different shifts. NTA has released the admit cards in phases based on the examination schedule. Before reviewing the date-wise status, candidates should note that hall tickets are generally released a few days prior to the scheduled exam date.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates and Shift Timings

The January session of JEE Main 2026 includes Paper 1 and Paper 2 examinations conducted in different shifts. Candidates should strictly follow the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

 

Paper 1 is conducted in two shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Paper 2 is conducted in a single shift:

  • 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Entry to the examination centre is permitted only during the specified time window, and late entry is not allowed under any circumstances.

 

Important Instructions for JEE Main 2026 Candidates

Candidates are advised to read all instructions printed on the admit card carefully before the exam day. The self-declaration section available on the hall ticket must be filled as instructed. Reaching the exam centre well in advance of the reporting time is mandatory to avoid last-minute issues during verification and frisking procedures.
