The JEE Main 2026 admit card for candidates scheduled to appear on 28 and 29 January is expected to be released soon on the official portal. The hall ticket will include crucial details such as exam centre, date, shift timings and reporting instructions, and must be carried with valid ID on exam day.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to issue the JEE Main 2026 admit card for examinations scheduled on 28 and 29 January 2026 in the coming days. This hall ticket will be available for download on the official JEE Main website once activated.
Expected Release Timeline
While an exact date has not been officially confirmed by the NTA, past practice and recent reporting suggest that admit cards for the 28 and 29 January sessions will be released a few days before the respective exam dates. For earlier shifts (21–24 January), admit cards were published approximately 3–4 days prior to the tests. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their login credentials — typically application number and password or date of birth — to download the hall ticket as soon as it appears.
What the Admit Card Contains?
The JEE Main admit card is a mandatory document to be presented at the exam centre. It contains the candidate’s:
- Name and roll number
- Allotted exam centre and address
- Exam date and reporting time
- Shift timings and paper details
- Instructions for exam day
Candidates must verify all details carefully and bring a valid photo ID along with the printed admit card on the day of the exam.
Exam Schedule for 28–29 January
According to the official schedule, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam dates include:
- 28 January 2026: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) in two shifts
- 29 January 2026: Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) in scheduled shifts
These dates form part of the broader Session 1 window running from 21 January to 29 January 2026.
Important Download Tips
- Use correct login details (application number + password/DOB) to access the admit card.
- Download and print multiple copies of the hall ticket.
- Carry the admit card with one valid government photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar card, passport).
