JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Expected Soon; Check Likely Release Dates

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card soon on its official examination portal. With the examination dates approaching, candidates are awaiting the hall ticket to confirm their exam centre, shift timing, and reporting details. The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall and must be downloaded in advance.

Expected Timeline for JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Release

Although no fixed date has been officially announced, the agency has indicated that the admit card will be issued three to four days before the examination date. Since the city intimation slip has already been released, the hall ticket is expected to follow shortly. Based on previous release patterns, candidates appearing for exams scheduled on 21, 22, and 23 January 2026 may receive their admit cards around 17 or 18 January 2026. For exams on 24, 28, and 29 January 2026, the admit card release is likely around 19 or 20 January 2026. Candidates are advised to rely only on the official website for updates and avoid unofficial platforms.

How to Download JEE Main 2026 Admit Card?

Once released, candidates will be able to access the admit card through the official JEE Main portal. A stable internet connection is recommended while downloading the document. To download the hall ticket, candidates must visit the official website, open the Session 1 admit card link, and log in using their application number and password or date of birth. After submission, the admit card should be downloaded and printed for exam-day use.

Difference Between JEE Main City Slip and Admit Card

The city intimation slip and admit card serve different purposes and should not be confused. The city slip informs candidates about the exam city and date, helping them plan travel arrangements in advance. The admit card, on the other hand, contains exact exam centre address, shift details, reporting time, roll number, and exam-day instructions. Only the admit card is accepted as a valid entry document at the exam centre.
