JEE advanced answer key 2025 has been released by IIT Kanpur on 25th May, 2025. It includes answers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The answer key is available on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. Before this, on 22nd May, 2025 the response sheets were already shared. Now, with the answer key and the response sheet, students can check their answers and get an idea of their expected marks.If any student thinks some answers in the key are wrong, they can send feedback or raise questions through a link given in the candidate login section. This option is open until 27th May, 2025. After that, experts will check the feedback. If needed, they will make changes to the answer key. The final answer key will be released along with the JEE Advanced 2025 result on June 2 on the same website – jeeadv.ac.in.
How to Challenge JEE Advanced Answer Key 2025?
- First, visit the official website of JEE Advanced – jeeadv.ac.in
- Login using the JEE Advanced application number, registered mobile number and DOB.
- On the dashboard, click on the option “Challenge Answer Key”
- Select the question number that needs to be challenged.
- Upload documents as proof to support the objection.
- Pay the required fee to challenge the JEE Advanced answer key 2025.
- Click on the submit button to complete the process.
JEE Advanced Cutoff 2025
The cutoff marks for JEE Advanced 2025, the minimum scores required to pass, will be declared by IIT Kanpur along with the exam results on 2nd June, 2025. In 2024, candidates in the Common Rank List (CRL) had to score at least 10 marks in each subject (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) and achieve a total of 109 out of 360 to qualify. In comparison, the 2023 cutoff was lower, requiring 8 marks in each subject and a total of 86 out of 360.This year, due to the increased difficulty level of the exam, experts are expecting a slight decrease in the qualifying marks. The overall cutoff for JEE Advanced 2025 is projected to fall between 90 and 95 marks out of 360. In addition, during the JEE Advanced 2025 counselling process, cutoff information will also be released in terms of opening and closing ranks for each round of JoSAA counselling, which is likely to begin on 3rd June, 2025.

- Compare the answers marked in the response sheet with those in the answer key to identify correct and incorrect responses.

- Count the number of incorrect responses and apply negative marking, if applicable.
- Subtract the marks lost due to incorrect answers from the total marks obtained for correct answers.
